It's better to give your kids a H1N1 flu shots

From the news of the Los Angeles Times. Most parents in the U.S won't give their children a H1N1 flu shot. In the report, about half--46% of the parents will not let their children get the vaccinate. The reason is the don't want to hear their babies cry. And about 20% people think that the H1N1 flu is not that serious like people said. But people in other countries, like the Latino and African parents will let their children have the vaccinate.
In China, the H1N1 flu is also a serious disease and it has been widely spreaded. Everyone is worried about to catch the flu especially the parents. Now a days, the H1N1 flu shots was invented by the doctors. Almost every parents wants to buy one and let their children get the vaccinate. However, China has the large population, not everyone can have the shots. The shots was firstly send to the place where has a lot of people catch the flu.
In fact, the H1N1 flu is world widely spreading now, it seems not that serious in the U.S. is because America don't have the problem of population and America has the best medical condition in the whole world. But even you catch the flu and finally heal the disease. The flu will still make some disadvantages of your body. In the other hand, maybe the flu is not serious like that, but you'd better make sure your baby will not catch it.
So, in my opinion. It's better to give your children even it's hurt. But, it can makes your children have a healthy life.

  1. I think the demographic breakdown of who plans to get the shot versus who won't is interesting. Why do you think there are differences? Did the article speculate on this? Also, why do so many people plan on NOT getting the shot? What exactly are people worried about?
